1. Move the Slide Switch from right to left (Off→On).
2. Place the detector over the item to be scanned.
3. Exam the item for absence or presence of counterfeit indicators.
4. To finish the detection, move the Slide Switch from left to right (On→Off).
5. To charge, connect a cell phone charger to the connector located at the bottom of the right side of the machine.
